Mountainbiking in the Dolomites

At Obereggen you can discover fascinating bike routes for the whole family – be it sporty along of one of the various panoramic tours or rather slow with the help of a Biketaxi to overcome height meters easily.

The gentle tracks for every training group fit perfectly for everyone. Local Bike Guides offer guided tours several times a week.

Fabulous bathing lakes in the surrounding area

A variety of bathing lakes invites you to relax.
The bathing lake „Montiggl“ and the small „Montiggl“ offer a perfect spot to spend a day swimming, relaxing, walking or even to rent a boot.

The „Kalterer See“ is the warmest bathing lake of the alps and is situated along the „vine street“ of South Tyrol. During bad weather the Terme „Merano“ is worth a visit.

The tennis sand courts in the surroundings offer also during warm summer days pleasend temperatures thanks to the high altitude.

Biological swimming pond at Ortnerhof

The biological swimming pond is a biotope with a great variety of water plants and many small aquatic animals like amphibians, frogs, water snails, marsh treaders etc. It is super clean and during nice weather it can reach up to 20°C warm.

First class water quality thanks to the biological filter system and the constant supply of fresh water guarantee water fun without chlorine and other chemicals – give a try to a wonderful cool down.
